  1. Mistletoe Puppy sounds amazing! I have been even busier during the pandemic, helping people apply for pandemic unemployment insurance, grants, and SBA loans as part of my regular job.
Thank you for the opportunity to enter a contest.
Have a wonderful day and take care!

  2. How has the pandemic affected me? Well both my husband and I telework from home and that can be challenging at times. I have been reading more than ever. I also have been spending more time with my Mother in law and Father In Law. Unfortunately my FIL passed away, not COVID, but he had dementia and other issues, therefore we have been spending more time with MIL and do all of her shopping for her.

  3. Keeping in touch with friends and loved ones during these trying times- calling more often and using FaceTime

  4. Positive in a pandemic? A good question which really made me stop and think. I think the most positive was finding out that I love working from home. I also just out-and-out love my home. I like being here and I like the things I have surrounded myself with. It’s also made me appreciate even more the nights when my husband and I are able to go out to dinner. Where we sit across from each other and just talk and talk about anything and everything. I appreciate that so much more than I did before the pandemic!

  5. The positive that has come out of the pandemic for me has been the time that I have been able to spend with my Mom and Dad. I was able to be there for my Dad when my stepmom died in March 2020. I have been there with my Mom through her illnesses that began in August 2020. I have had the time to work on paperwork to apply my Mom for Medicaid.

  6. Hi Roxanne. In answer to your question about how we spent time during the pandemic – sadly our son passed away suddenly about 8 months before the start of the pandemic last year. I also retired 2 months prior to the isolation restrictions. So, the pandemic gave me time to grieve at my own pace as well as adjust to all the new free time I had. I found even deeper relationships with my closest friends and family, I caught up on small updates around our home and yard, tackled some much needed decluttering and organization. Bought a new bike, had time to take long walks daily with our Standard Poodle as well as with my husband. And, have been reading at an alarming rate! All the while watching the news and being saddened by the mounting numbers of those who lost their fights with Covid. For me, its been a rollercoaster of a year, looking forward to happier times.
