I now treasure this book. Join with Grace, a young adult, as she partakes in a global adventure that her late grandmother sends her on.

The Christmas Tree Treasure Hunt is like a combination of The Amazing Race and The Ultimate Gift. It has adventure in foreign countries, treasures abounding, emotional surprises, and the realizing that a dear family member loved you so much that they wanted you (or, well, Grace) to learn something important from it all.

This story expresses the gift of knowledge, how sisters never truly break apart, and most importantly... the beauty of forgiveness. I love how this group of authors collaborated so well to create an excellent Christmas story that warms your heart. The book is written with solid Christian faith following every chapter, and intertwines well with the message being shown in the plot.

Love this book.

NOTE: Mature content is included in part of the back-story behind the main plot, but other than that, it is a clean read.

This is a marvelous story about a young woman going on a great adventure that had been arranged for her by her grandmother shortly before her death. Grace was apprehensive about such a journey, but how could she refuse Grammie's last gift?

Through various states and foreign countries Grace comes to know even more about Grammie and the mark she left on others. But the best gift was finally opening her heart to love, forgiveness, and even God.

By the end of the story you will begin to see the true gift was not just for Grace: it is for each one of us, and we really need to open our hearts and listen.

At the beginning of the story I realized I had read this a while back. However, it was definitely worth reading again.

What a delightful, fun story with a deep-seated message ripe for the season--the love God had for us when He sent us His Son. How can we not let go of bitterness, forgive and reconcile when we think of the unmerited grace God bestows upon us every day? The people Grace meets along her journey are lovable and carry the story forward as she learns the true meaning of her name.

The fact that this sweet story, plotted and written by nine collaborating authors, was completed in a month might sound miraculous enough, but what's really amazing is how seamlessly it flows. I started reading it on Tracy Ruckman's website, WriteIntergrityPress, then knew I MUST read it all the way through.

I easily read this novella in an evening and enjoyed every line. I hope you will add it to your Christmas reading, and perhaps give it as a gift as well. Highly recommended.

This is an easy read and parts are very enjoyable, however, I felt going from chapter to chapter was sometimes choppy. I guess that is to be expected, since it was written by a few different authors. Also, the ending was rather sudden. I did like the concept of the story. It was nice to read during the Christmas hustle and bustle.

Grace's beloved grandmother had recently passed away, her parents died years ago from a car accident and her only living relative, her twin sister, has been estranged since high school when the sister stole Grace's high school boyfriend and got pregnant. Grace looks forward to a sad Christmas season at college. However, Grace's world is turned upside down with a package she receives in the mail. Instructions, written by the grandmother before her death, leads Grace on a round-the-world treasure hunt. Grace slowly realizes that the real treasure is forgiveness of her sister, but Grace's hardened heart needs a lot of work before she is ready to confront her sister. This is a great story that was hard to put down. It was well-written with good dialogue and storyline.

I chose this book because the title 'looked like fun' - who doesn't love a Treasure Hunt?!?! I found it interesting that it was written by a GROUP of writers, and I must say the book came together beautifully. Enjoyed the story line and the suspense although there are enough clues along the way that you know how it will end. Still, I found myself wanting to continue on with the next chapter before putting it down. Great for a reader who only has small bits of time to read. The chapters are short and flow quickly so reading 1, 2 or 3 at a time worked great for me.

This book took me on a lot of journeys which were really interesting and pointed to Christ and warmth and love all along the way. I really like what the Grammie was doing in this book for her Granddaughters. Really inspiring. I guess the only reason I gave it 4 stars was the end. I would have loved more interaction between the sisters instead of the abruptness of THE END. I didn't know until the end of the book that this was written by 9 authors. I really like that. It turned out really good! I really like after the book ends, the leading to Christ and the Christmas story from the Bible. That's awesome too. So keep reading after the end. Its really good! :)

I really liked this book, read it on my kindle.
Was suprised when it started to relate to God, but found this very good and thought provoking.

The end was a little predictable but I liked the way the rest of it went. Feel it could have carried on to say how life turned out.

Would recommend to anyone who wants a nice feel good type book
